It has four main attributes: doing well in school, having good character, learning to be a leader, and helping others within our school and community through service projects. | Student Council | Mrs. Butler | To run for Student Council, students must be respectful, responsible, and in good standings behaviorally and academically within their classrooms. In addition, a commitment of the entire school year in the student council role is required. Student applications can be completed at the start of the school year. | |
| Yearbook Staff | Miss Botta | CMS yearbook staff members are selected through an application process during the spring of the previous school year. Only rising 7th grade students may apply. This allows all staff members to serve for two years. Our staff typically meets before school (day and time varies) throughout the fall and spring semesters. | Drama Club | Ms. Matthews | CMS Drama Club is a full production Company called SofaDream Productions. All students are welcome to join, whether they like performing or working as Tech Crew behind the scenes. No Theatre experience is required. There is a fee of $50.00, which can be offset for families with fundraising options. We will produce at least FOUR shows this year, with the potential of opening a Junior Thespian Troupe for 7th and 8th graders who can take their Thespian points to high school with them.
