Cell Phone Policy

Couch Middle School will be continuing “Away for the Day” with student cell phones.  This means that students will NOT be allowed to carry their cell phones on their person while at school.  All cell phones will be secured in each student’s book bag/backpack for the whole day.  Should a student be found using his/her cell phone, the cell phone will be confiscated and “pouched” for the remainder of the school day. Students can pick up pouched cell phones, from the front office, during dismissal.   

Bluetooth/wireless earbuds/headphones will also not be allowed on the premises.  Students will receive 3 tech warnings before a Disciplinary Step is issued for failure to comply with the Couch MS device policy.  

Students are not permitted to bring a device or earbuds for classroom use.
